Is it possible to turn a newly built apartment into the perfect home for someone in his twenties? Absolutely, it’s all about playing with the details.

The young owner’s goal was to transform his first home, an impersonal space, into a place that truly reflected his personality. The layout stayed the same, with no changes to the floor plan—just a strong focus on the furnishings and the design of the spaces.

To create distinct areas within the open living space, each corner was given its own strong identity. In the living room, a unique and curvy sofa was chosen not to close off the space but to become its focal point. The kitchen, with its minimalist finishes, fits perfectly with the living room’s style, almost blending in as part of the furniture. As for the dining area, the real star, aside from the designer table, is the wallpaper. It’s incredible how just one wall (even a modestly sized one) can transform a space from plain to full of character.

Another key decision in transforming this otherwise neutral apartment was maximizing the outdoor space. When you’re young, having room to socialize is key, but indoor spaces often just aren’t enough. To fully take advantage of the balcony, solutions were selected that could animate the space without taking over it. The end result is the perfect place to gather with friends on summer nights.
